What is ALumverde™

ALumverde is a concept, a technique, a system and a vision.

A Technique of Surlyn Resin with Aluminum Core

Surlyn, a high-performance plastic resin renowned for its use on golf balls. With its superior performance on weathering resistance and durability, it is widely used on composite material for elevating its capacity. When applied to aluminum, it transforms the product in remarkable ways: not only does it create a lifelike wood texture, but it also unlocks a broader spectrum of colors and surface finishes. Additionally, this innovative fusion elevates the material’s performance to new heights, delivering exceptional stability, durability, and resistance to environmental stress.

- Precision is paramount. By maintaining the tightest tolerance in profile dimensions (minus difference), we ensure the stability needed for the seamless application of the resin layer.

b. Outer Layer Mixing

- The art of color begins here. Subtle adjustments in the base plastic and color masterbatch create stunning, natural variations. This process not only defines the visual appeal but also influences the resin’s flow and the final surface flatness, ensuring a flawless finish.

c. Glue Coating

- A critical bond between aluminum and Surlyn resin. We use eco-friendly copolymer resin, rigorously tested to meet the highest environmental standards. This step ensures a durable, seamless fusion that enhances both performance and sustainability.

- Under precise temperature and pressure, Surlyn resin is extruded onto the surface. Controlling these parameters within a narrow range is essential for maintaining color consistency and forming the panel’s texture. The grain roller adds the final touch, creating a lifelike wood pattern.

e. Finishing

- The final stage defines the product’s tactile and visual character. Deeper sanding delivers a textured, authentic wood feel, while lighter sanding creates a smoother, more refined surface. This process also influences color variation, allowing for a range of finishes to suit any design vision.
